Maia Takahashi

Product Design graduate from Japan and UX Design graduate from Norway. Background from service industries, with experience backpacking across Japan, Canada, and South America. These experiences sparked a growing interest in how people navigate products, services, and everyday systems, eventually leading her towards service design.

Bio

Maia grew up in a small city in Japan.

Her mother is Brazilian, and her father travelled in his youth. International families were minorities in her hometown, so she grew up with a big interest in going outside of Japan.

After high school, she went to folk high school in Grong, Norway. Then she travelled both in and outside of Japan before eventually coming back to Norway after 10 years.

Maia was into snowboarding, so she mostly spent the winter time at ski resorts in her youth.

Finally, she settled down in Oslo and is now living with her Norwegian husband and two beautiful kids.
